If you do anything with Adsense then you know this name – Joel Comm.

Joel is the foremost expert on the game of Adsense.

Yes, I said game. Lets face it. Everything we do online is like a game. Search engines change their algorythems and we spend money and time trying to find ways to beat them at their own game and get an advantage for our web sites.

Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising is a game. You have a web site you want to promote. Google (or others) have a paid advertising service. The game is, how to pay the least amount of money for your ads. Google creates the rules and you try to beat them – once again – at their own game.

Well using Adsense is the same thing. There is right way to play the game and a wrong way.

Adsense – Is It For Your Business?

There have been many debates about using Adsense on E-commerce sites.

One theory suggests that to include Adsense on a site that sells a product or multiple products is a distraction for the customer. After all you want them to buy from you and not leave through a link – possibly to a competitor – that only pays you $0.25, if that.

The other theory is – and actually this is a fact – your visitor will leave your site at some point. You might as well provide choices for them which will pay you something. Even if its just a little bit of money, its better than nothing.
